Religious Freedom
There are many dedicated organizations that seek to
ensure fundamental religious freedoms throughout the world. I believe they
are worthy of our support. We cannot take these freedoms for granted for
even as we speak, there are organizations that seek to curtail our freedoms.

We, people of diverse religions, spiritual expressions and indigenous
traditions throughout the world, hereby establish the United Religions
Initiative to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end
religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice
and healing for the Earth and all living beings...

Council on Religious Freedom
|
Established in 1985, the Council on Religious Freedom seeks to preserve the
principles of religious liberty set forth in the First Amendment to the U.S.
Constitution. The Council monitors efforts to erode or imperil religious freedom
and presents investigative reports on current religious freedom incidents throughout the
the U.S. and the world such as Germany and France's recent attacks on minority
religions.

This website promotes tolerance towards all faiths. The authors view religious
tolerance as a civil rights matter and believe that everyone should be able
to follow their own religious beliefs and practices freely, even though
others view them as false
