Beyond the Material
In recent centuries, Science has been more and more at the forefront with
the focus on what can be reliably and consistently proven with the technologies
we have available. This very material approach has yielded a wealth of knowledge
and tremendous technological progress. Yet there are many areas that science
either cannot or does not address.
|
"Because of the nature of the scientific and dogmatic suppression in our
control-based paradigm, it is both logical and ironic that the ultimate
pursuit of materialism in science based in physics should be the venue
for scientific realizations which would ultimately contribute heavily to
the breakdown of the materialistic view of the universe. Dissertations and
discoveries by Albert Einstein, David Bohm and others have provided
tremendous evidence about the nature of parts of the universe that have
been classified as painful anomalies by control science. The growing public
awareness of the growing list of anomalies boosted research in a variety
of additional areas, and during the last several decades of the 20th
century 'the wheel' came full circle, placing the focus directly on
areas that had been ignored or suppressed -- consciousness, the Soul,
and investigations into areas which serve to magnify the importance of
self-responsibility."

Fuzzy Logic
|
Fuzzy set theory implements classes or groupings of data with boundaries
that are not sharply defined (i.e., fuzzy). Any methodology or theory
implementing "crisp" definitions such as classical set theory, arithmetic,
and programming, may be "fuzzified" by generalizing the concept of a crisp
set to a fuzzy set with blurred boundaries.

Bohm's Gnosis: The Implicate Order
|
This article discusses the vision David Bohm intuited from his insight (gnosis)
into the quantum world. This vision discerns the characteristics of an evolving
cosmos in process; and, also, it ponders upon the implications for humanity.
Bohm's scientific presentations are not in this article; however, they can be
found in his books listed in the Reference Section at the end of these
series of articles
