and are protected under U.S. and International

On most of the pages the copyright notices are at the very bottom of the page.Many of the images and materials on this site belong to other artists and are also protected. I have provided links at the bottom of each page or along with the work in question so you can contact the owner of the work.
Please do not use my work or the works of artists I have obtained permissions from without first getting permission from them yourself. This includes copying, distributing, altering or any other unauthorized use that would be a copyright infringement.
Also, please do not directly link to my images or works. This is called bandwidth theft. Instead, download the images and then post them them on your own website. Click here if you don't know how to do this.
Any works or publications that do not bear a copyright notice or a link to the owner's website are in the public domain or have been granted public domain status by their owners. If you see a work that you think I have incorrectly assumed to be in the public domain, please email me and let me know. I will seek proper permission. I will also advise the real owner of the work where I found it being posted as a public domain work so they can take action to remove it from that site.
Getting Permissions
You can contact me at webmaster@sharlee.com with permission requests or if you have any questions. I will answer you, usually within 24 hours. This only applies to works that I own. If the work belongs to another artist, please find their link on the page on which I use their work and directly contact them.
You are welcome to place a link on your website to any page on my site and you don't need permission to do this. I enjoy and appreciate receiving email letting me know that you've linked to me and I will definitely come and see your site if you give me your website address. If I feel that your sit works in well with what I am doing on my site, I will place a link back to you on my site.

Public Domain Images on this Site
When you see an image that has no copyright information or does not have a link to an Artist's site, you can copy it to your computer. Check at the bottom of the page before you copy it. That's where I usually place the copyright and permission notices. If you can't figure out whether its copyrighted or to whom, send me an email and I'll let you know.
You can copy an image by placing your mouse cursor on it and right-clicking the mouse. Then choose Save Picture As... and save it to the directory you want on your computer. You can then upload the image to your website from your computer.
