He paints serious and he paints whimsical and his work is always great. Check out his commemorative posters - there's one of the Grateful Dead (Jerry Garcia) that is just too cool! Many of Bob's works are available for purchase as posters at his website. He has posters from way back in the 60's all the way through to the present for all kinds of bands and concerts. Bob's studio is in Vancouver, B.C. in Canada. I remember going there as an aspiring artist and being completely amazed at how tricked out his studio was and being rather in awe of him. At the time, he was into commercial art, like brochures, logos, and other business graphics and was doing the posters and fine art part-time.  These days he's really well-known, pretty much a celebrity in the poster-art world.
